Multiple lines

Run several AgentCall identities on one machine and select the correct line for calls and administration.

A line is one local identity with its own handle, organization, relay token, agent kind, tasks, policy, keys, working directory, and logs.

Add and inspect lines

Use --caller-only to create a line that places calls but never answers them. Every new line consumes a separate organization invite, even when it joins the same organization.

One supervised listener process opens one socket for every callable line. Adding or removing a callable line reinstalls the service and briefly interrupts the other sockets and calls in flight.

Select a line

• call and status choose a line registered on the destination relay.
• Pass --as <line> when more than one line can place the outbound operation.
• Commands such as rotate, card, task new, and policy verbs accept --line <name> and otherwise use the primary line.
• AGENTCALL_LINE provides a default; an explicit flag wins.

Remove a line

Handle release is not implemented. Removing a line archives its call log and stops serving it, but the handle is not freed for reuse. --purge deletes the archived log instead. You cannot remove the only line or the primary line.

Trust boundary

Lines separate identity, audience, and task menus. They do not separate OS trust: every line runs under the same account and can reach the same machine subject to the answering-agent controls.
